About our CEO
KAMSI Magazine was founded by Philadelphian and Nigerian-American, Chinazo Enigwe, who wanted to provide a space for black women to see representatives of their community through high-fashion. A proud alumnae of Temple University, she changed direction from her psychology track to instead pursue her true passions of fashion, media, and the performing arts industry coupled with fulfilling her purpose to uplift black and brown women. "I want to be able to provide a platform for African women to showcase what authentic fashion looks like. African women are the trailblazers when it comes to fashion trends, but we rarely get the appropriate recognition."
Chinazo's mission is to make KAMSI the "black woman's bible" in terms of providing all things
