Work it Out: Work Outs to Boost Your Mood
Have you ever been in such a bad mood you don’t want to be in contact with anyone other than the actors you’re watching on Netflix? Everyone has those days of bad moods and it’s completely normal. If you ever wonder what can help you with those bad moods, then be sure to check out some tips to getting rid of those horrible Monday blues. It’s time to work, work, work it out!
There are many ways to wash away your bad moods such as taking a walk, reading a positive quote or even listening to music. My favorite way to relieving some stress is a good old workout. Not only does it release all of the unnecessary stress that is build up but it’s also a good way to stay healthy and in shape. There are many ways to get rid of that stress through exercise but I’ll give you my favorite three.
Yoga is a physical, mental, and spiritual practice or discipline which originated in India. Yoga is such a great way to relax and let go. You can go to your local yoga center and meet other yogis in your city and or maybe go to the park with your mat and rock out solo. Trust me when I say yoga will have you feeling great and relax by the end of the week. There is a reason Janelle Monae wrote a whole song about it.
Jogging is another great technique to sweat away all of your problems. All you have to do is throw on your favorite running shoes and put on your favorite song of the day and just go. According to Live Strong, regular jogging can make you feel better because it improves your health and fitness and also give you more energy. So, get your stretch on and do a jog around the block. It will make you feel much better.
Even though I have never done boxing myself, I heard great things about it. Not only does it work out your muscles but it also gives you a chance to really relieve all of your stress in the boxing ring. Boxing can serve as a way to release anger, can help you work through your emotions and prevent anxiety. Coming from someone who has anxiety, this seems like a great way to let go of all the bad energy in your life.
