Todd Anthony by Jacqueline Myles

Jacqueline Myles is a self-taught designer from Philadelphia PA. Her aesthetic is men, women, and children's clothing. The primary focus is being men and women's high-fashion ready-to-wear, Couture and custom design. Her design style is a mixture of classic, modern, retro and at times edgy. Though she doesn't tend to follow trends she is often ahead of the industry in the areas of color and shape. She is heavily influenced by her love for Fashion and beautiful fabrics from classic movies and days gone by. She says, "When I decide to focus on a collection my process is going into the fabric stores and letting the fabrics speak to me". She prefers to let the fabrics she comes in contact with determine which direction she'll take her collection in. The textures, patterns, weight and movement of the fabric dictates what it should become. On occasion, Jacqueline is known to make mini collections form unconventional materials. As in, her chain mail collection. Jacqueline’s designs have been featured in brochures, on the cover of Angels/2012, Sheen Magazine/2014, Hype Hair Magazine/2009 and 2012, and Today's Black Woman Style Report/2012 and 2014. She was the 2011 winner of New Day Associates "Designer of the Year Competition. She was the featured designer for the NAACP Music and Fashion Presentation at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and the only designer featured in the Philly Pet Support Phashion Charity Affair (fundraiser for the care and safety of rescued and abandoned animals). She has shown her collections during both New York Fashion Week and Philadelphia Fashion Week during several seasons. She is currently a member of Designer's Inc.. It is always interesting to see how she plans to dress the Todd Anthony man or woman. One thing is certain, they will be noticed.
