Nia Sioux's Music Rise
It is no secret that the music industry is tough and anyone brave enough to venture into it has to have a thick skin. Luckily, Nia Sioux-Frazier, professionally known as NiaSioux, is no stranger to the pressure and criticism the spotlight brings. First appearing on the Lifetime hit ‘Dance Moms’ in 2011, Sioux was at the back of the pack, even behind the youngest dancer 5-year-old Mackenzie Ziegler, and subject to solos that type-cast the as African American beauty. It can be implied Sioux was not favored by her instructor on the reality television show, but since the start of her music career, all eyes have been on her.
With a strong following of teens and tweens, Nia Sioux has sky-rocketed to the top with ‘Slay’, ‘Winner’, ‘Star in your own life’ and most recently ‘ Dance (Just Rock)’. Although Nia is seen as a teen pop star and dancer made famous by the reality television series, she has had unprecedented success collaborating with well-respected artists such as Coco Jones and nabbing a role in an off-Broadway pop-music spectacle, Trip of Love, in 2016. Sioux has been busy making a name for herself outside of her competition team and it is paying off.
Additionally, Sioux makes time to post covers of popular songs on her YouTube channel. With over 400 thousand subscribers, dynamite vocals, and a stellar dancing ability, Nia is set to the entertainment industry by storm. The most recent cover of ‘Stay’, Sioux proves her passion for music runs deep in her veins and shows that she is ready to take on whatever is thrown her way. Nia Sioux has waited patiently in the wings for her moment and will undoubtedly be the next big thing in pop music because of her unwavering drive to be better than she was yesterday.
Nia Sioux’s music is available on iTunes, YouTube, Play Music, iHeartRadio, and Spotify.
