Womens Current Trends: Tight and Clingy, Loose and Mighty

As of late, I've been noticing a few trends from our lovely ladies. Women have always been the best when it comes to being trendy and just at the top of their game. From minor accessories to an entire outfit, women are just built to succeed and slay. So, I may be late, but has anyone noticed how quickly the choker resurfaced?

A choker is a simple accessory for the neck, which firmly clings to the neck, hence why it's called a choker. Like most things, it can be seen as tasteless, but it actually is a beautiful accessory. It simply dawns the neck and draws the attention. Simply put, its too cute!! I’ve just been noticing women slaying the basics and moving up towards a more prestigious path. Bravo ladies, bravo.

This isn't a new trend, chokers have been around since the 90s. They were mostly worn by celebrities during extravagant events. It fell off for a time and now it is just as glamorous.

Most would say that this isn't something that can be worn in the workplace, but actually, it can be just as tasteful in the workplace, if you know what you are doing. Simplicity is key! Because the choker already draws in attention, you don't need anything too flashy.

Not only have I noticed chokers, but I have noticed oversized sweaters as well. It is clearly best suited for winter (though it doesn’t feel like winter with the strange weather in Philly). I for one LOVE oversized sweaters on women, they just give me so much life. I like that it’s one of those things that just naturally looks good on everyone and that it doesn't matter your shape or size because it is so diverse in nature.

If you were to put these two things together, you would definitely be “it” in the most simple yet chic look.
