LA Style Fashion Week had such an amazing lineup of fashion designers with creatively provoked and unique collections that catered to a variety of personal styles. The brand collections on the runway ranged from edgy to chic to glamorous to dramatic and so on.

Fashion week kicked off the second week of March (on Wednesday, March 8th) with an opening reception that took place at Skybar inside the Mondrian Hotel in West Hollywood. The day after the jam-packed mingle sesh (they even had to turn people away because they reached capacity), the fashion runway shows ensued at the Pacific Design Center (PDC is also located in West Hollywood) for four days outdoors in the 68 degrees Cali weather. The brand collections that hit the Style Fashion Week LA runway started with a glamorous and timeless collection from Malan Breton on day one. Following Breton’s amazing 2017 collections were other outstanding fashion design collections from Commatteo, Shahida Parides, Moods of Norway, David Tupaz, Richard Hallmarq, Mario De La Torre, Disco Panda, Ydamys Simo, Bijan Andre, Wangliling, Thomas Wylde, Honee and Adrian Alicea. (For more info on any of these designers highlight their name then click to search for them on Google)

In collaboration with Cirque Du Soleil’s Zumanity, the week wasn’t limited on entertaining performances from recording artists, comedians and of course, Cirque Du Soleil’s Zumanity performers either. When the models weren’t making appearances in brand collection pieces on the runway, there were inserted moments of entertainment which made for a fun filled event of more than just fashion. Of course there were plenty celebrities present like Christina Milian, Pia Mia, Kat Graham and Draya Michele to name several.

Fashion Weeks are definitely purposeful in its regard to keep us informed on the latest designer collections and trends. If you’re a lover of fashion, then you must attend one in an area near you.

What do you think of these collections? Any of the pieces cater to your personal style?
